One of the most bizarre news stories that was doing rounds this week was that of an Italian artist who taped a banana to a wall in the name of art and managed to sell it for US $120,000. Burger King in France jumped into the conversation to promote its very own fries! Meanwhile, KFC in Malaysia created a music album to promote the return of its hot and cheezy burger. And in the final weeks leading up to Christmas, German supermarket chain, Lidl has taken a dig at Marks & Spencer and Waitrose in a playful outdoor campaign.
